Each year, the Wandering Fair transforms the heart of town into a vibrant hub of colour, culture, and community spirit and 2025 was no exception. Designed as a free, family friendly event for all ages, the fair once again delivered an unforgettable weekend filled with entertainment, discovery and local pride. This year, CRISP supported the fair by providing event connectivity, communications tools and stable event WiFi for vendors, volunteers and organisers. Reflecting on this year’s success, event representative Mel Browne shared;
“Wandering Fair 2025 provides an annual fair for all ages full of stalls, entertainments and rides, free for the whole family.”
With the fair aligned to the Wandering Camp Out Weekend, Big Sky Arena and VMX, the goal was simple: “to best showcase our beautiful town and all it has to offer.”

The fairgrounds at the Wandering Community Centre and oval were buzzing with activity. Mel described the lineup as including:
“Live music, the RAC virtual helicopter, WA Cobra Car Club, food vans, market stalls, Sundowner Line Dancers, the Field of Quilts, the ‘Wandering Brides’ vintage wedding gown display, horse and cart, reptile by Amy Wilde, Ana Bee face painting, Boddington RRR, WA Rogaining, climbing wall, bucking bull, bouncy castle and show bags.”
The mix of static displays, interactive experiences and local talent created a welcoming environment where people could stroll, explore, and enjoy the day at their own pace. With so many attractions and stallholders onsite, reliable vendor WiFi helped support cashless payments, digital displays and communication between volunteers.
